Poseidon Nickel Limited

Poseidon Nickel Limited is a West Australian minerals exploration company with three projects within a radius of 300km from Kalgoorlie, a significant mining town in the Goldfields region of WA. Poseidon Nickel has a resource base of approximately 400,000 tonnes of nickel and 180,000 ounces of gold.

Projects

Black Swan

Poseidon Nickel’s Black Swan Project leverages off a 2.2Mtpa processing plant which commenced operations in 1997 and operated continuously until 2008. It achieved a total production of 179kt Ni concentrate. The Black Swan Project is located approximately 600km east of Perth and 50km northeast of Kalgoorlie, WA.

Mt Windarra

The Mt Windarra Nickel Project is located in the Mt Margaret Goldfields in WA, about 25km west of Laverton. Nickel mineralisation was discovered in the belt in the late 1960s and by the late 1980s, the project had completed 15,180 drill holes. Work will soon commence on a mining study at Windarra.

Lake Johnston

The Lake Johnston Project leverages off a 1.5 Mtpa processing plant considered highly prospective for further nickel discoveries. While Poseidon Nickel is focused on restarting the Black Swan Project, Lake Johnston could be restarted once Black Swan is in operation.
